Anthony Abrahams CFO and Partner

Anthony D. Abrahams, Partner and Chief Financial Officer, joined the Lucent New Ventures Group as its CFO in 1998. Mr. Abrahams currently provides the Firm with overall financial management, manages NVP’s investor relations and assists in establishing the operating and financial infrastructure and employee benefits for each new venture launched.

Previously, he worked as an executive in the Corporate Finance group at Ernst & Young, LLP, where he focused on providing companies with M&A and private capital sourcing services. Before joining Ernst & Young in 1995, Mr. Abrahams spent five years as an investment banker at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr. Abrahams spent five years previously as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP.

He was formerly on the Board of Advisors of the Technology Ventures Incubator at Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting summa cum laude from Virginia State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
