Franklin Rimalovski Partner

Franklin B. Rimalovski, Partner, joined the Lucent New Ventures Group in 1998. Before joining Lucent, he spent six years in marketing, business development and product management roles with Sun Microsystems, Inc.’s JavaSoft unit, Apple Computer, Inc. and NeXT Computer, Inc. During this time, Mr. Rimalovski successfully led the definition, development and market introduction of several products and technologies.

Previously, Mr. Rimalovski co-founded the M&A practice at Rodman & Renshaw Inc., an investment bank focused on sell-side M&A assignments for mid-sized companies. Before founding Rodman & Renshaw’s M&A Group in 1990, he was an investment banker in the M&A group at Bear, Stearns & Co.

Mr. Rimalovski is currently a director of iO Global Ltd., and a board observer of NextG Networks, Inc. He was previously a director of Azure Solutions Ltd. (acquired by Subex Systems), Metrocommute LLC, Microwave Photonics Inc. (acquired by NextG Networks), Persystant Technologies, LLC and SavaJe Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Sun Microsystems).

Mr. Rimalovski holds a BA cum laude in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
